I hope you are all well and enjoying the first few signs of spring!
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Woodland Management Workshop on Friday 14th March. The workshop will be taking place at The Hall at Hapsford, which is just outside of Frome, from 10am-2pm.
The session will be run by Anna from the Small Woods Association and will cover several topics, including; assessing your woodland, silvicultural systems, legality, threats and building resistance. We will then break for lunch (which we will be providing) before taking a walk round Vallis Vale to look at the woodland and chat about it's management as a practical example.
